It provides 3 jobs per month for free. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud Scheduler?** The number of free jobs per month is much less, that is only 3, It is good for testing purposes but if you planning on using it you gotta pay for it and it is currently $0.10 per job run after 3 free jobs which in my opinion is costly, whereas linux batch job does not need any fees to run. **What problems is Google Cloud Scheduler solving and how is that benefiting you?** Google Cloud Scheduler is a great way of setting up cron jobs, it just needs a URL where it will send a request when each cron is run. I know it's some kind of standard with other tools as well to use series of numbers and asterisk to determine the frequency of the job.
