What do you like best about 1 EDI Source, an Epicor solution?

The easy integration with other entities, encryption in the sending and storage of data, tracking and localization of each order, team support and development, and constant monitoring are the main features I value in this software.

Additionally, Epicor EDI allows for cloud hosting and integration with the ERP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 1 EDI Source, an Epicor solution?

The best thing in EPICOR is that it's very customizable as per your needs. Many Ad hoc crystal reports can be created in it. Last but not the least is that it's very cost effective and fulfil all needs of medium to big enterprizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing which i donot like is that it has some limited features. Like it cant be connected to other softwares like attendance machine, weight bridges and the other issue i there is no cloud back up available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Automatic setup of EDI data from incoming transactions is a huge bonus. Takes the guess work out of setup. We can filter down the documents to find errors quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EDI HQ is relatively easy to learn and they host classes to help you learn. It makes developing for EDI easy as it has custom operations that prevent you from doing extra work unless absolutely necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not much. It's a solid piece of software. It crashes a bit more often than I would like, but it's still just on occasion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 1 EDI Source, an Epicor solution?

This software offers the most flexibility of any I have seen. The ability to maintain all the aspects of mapping and processing of the software is incredible along with the flexibility of the communications package for all protocols required by our customers! What do you dislike about 1 EDI Source, an Epicor solution?

So far, I haven't found much to dislike, I would like to see the output on the po's with the po total in the EDI/HQ - Dashboard, like we see in the intelligentXchange dasboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would highly recommend this software to any company that wants to bring the process in-house and save money! We were able to bring all of our customers on board in less than a year and we have some rather complex processing for most of our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 1 EDI Source, an Epicor solution solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to remove a lot of manual intervention required by our old EDI system. We were also able to reduce our monthly costs for processing as we were able to remove the Van cost for customers who did not require a Van. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HQExchange is a full featured yet approachable EDI program that makes integration with partners a lot easier and quicker. The mapping features are excellent and provide tools for almost any data manipulation that you will encounter. The communication tools provided are also top notch. HQExchange is complete package for traditional EDI, but I would like to see more web services integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integration with our partners has gone from months to weeks or even days. Setting up a communication channel with a partner can be done in minutes. It's easy to bring on board new vendors. Building a new map, or using an existing one is easy to do. The dashboard is real helpful in easily finding any problems Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1 EDI Source, an Epicor solution?

It would be nice if it had more xml capabilities. Some of our vendors work strictly in XML. It makes it difficult to work with those.

Also... it would be nice to have a visual representation of the Job Schedules Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Make sure you get training, and record the sessions. It was very helpful to go back to. Try to include every type of transaction you would use in the training Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We got rid of the older biztalk system, which was real difficult to troubleshoot issues.
