One downside of using Yodeck is the lack of a robust built-in content editor, which means we have to design assets in external tools before uploading them. We’ve also noticed that screen transitions can be inconsistent, like, smooth fades work well for images, but when switching between videos or more complex layouts, the change can feel jarring or like it cuts abruptly. On top of that, the dashboard preview doesn’t always match what ends up on the physical screens, so we sometimes need to do manual checks to make sure our travel deals and office updates are formatted exactly as intended.
