Native SharePoint workflows used to be very useful and convenient. Now Microsoft has shifted to Power Automate and other Power Platform tools, which you have to pay for. We used to be able to do much more with the native SharePoint workflows without any additional cost, but now it’s essentially the same capability under a new name—Power Automate—and you’re expected to pay for it.
