For me, central management is probably the biggest advantage. This is where you can look at each client to determine whether they’re up-to-date, update them yourself, allow/deny USB drives, etc. All of these items are managed through a single tool. I’ll try to keep this brief since i’ve worked a 12 hour day, but the notifications via email are actually really helpful. Whether the threat was detected automatically by the system or had to be handled by a user, it’s still sending notifications. It goes without saying that deep scans can slow your computer down to nothing. That’s just how it works. Low spec computers or older ones will essentially shut off certain applications during the scan. The management portal has a steep learning curve and the curve never really levels out. After months of use and countless hours spent trying to learn new features, i’m starting to feel exhausted with the amount of learning required. More often than i would like false positives occur and tracking down quarantined files that end up being harmless is just busy work.
