Ciò che vedi è ciò che ottieni, significa che ciò che stai digitando nell'editor, nel pannello di backend, è ciò che vedrai nel lato frontend.

WYSIWYG è un acronimo e significa "Quello che vedi è quello che ottieni". Fondamentalmente, qualunque cosa venga inserita in quella casella è ciò che ottieni quando visualizzi quel contenuto altrove.

La persona che sta seriamente pensando di adottare TinyMCE nel proprio ambiente di sviluppo e tuttavia chiede "cosa significa wysiwyg" non può essere aiutata
