I 3 componenti principali di Splunk: Search Head (UI), Indexer (DB) e Forwarder (Endpoint Agent con Universal Forwarder o Aggregation Agent con Heavy-weight/Light-weight Forwarder). Le piccole implementazioni possono essere distribuite con Search Head e Indexer sullo stesso nodo.
