# What are some practical use cases for Coder beyond basic development?

I’ve been using Coder mainly for setting up ready-to-use development environments, but I feel it can be used for much more. For example, it seems useful for onboarding new developers quickly, since they can start coding without setting up everything locally. It could also help in team collaboration where everyone works in the same environment, avoiding setup issues. I’m also curious if anyone is using it for teaching, testing different environments or managing secure remote development. Would like to know real use cases from others and how it has improved their workflow.
