No, Marketo non è un sistema di Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Marketo è principalmente una piattaforma di software per l'automazione del marketing. È progettato per aiutare le aziende con la generazione di lead, l'email marketing, la coltivazione dei lead e altre attività legate al marketing. Sebbene Marketo possa integrarsi con i sistemi CRM (come Salesforce o Microsoft Dynamics) per allineare gli sforzi di marketing e vendite, non è un CRM in sé. I sistemi CRM sono focalizzati sulla gestione delle relazioni con i clienti, le vendite e i dati dei clienti, mentre le piattaforme di automazione del marketing come Marketo sono orientate verso il marketing e la gestione dei lead.
