Honestly, what got me was how fast everything was up and running. I'm talking under an hour from signup to having an actual store with products already in it. No blank canvas, no "figure it out yourself" energy - just a fully built storefront ready to go. The digital products catalog is solid too. Stuff that people genuinely search for and buy, not random junk nobody wants. The revenue split is fair (around 65% your way), and the done-for-you ad management is a real game changer if you're not a marketing person. My growth manager actually checks in regularly, which I didn't expect at all.

The customization options for the store design are a bit limited if you want to go really niche with your branding. You get a clean, professional look out of the box, but tweaking it beyond the basics takes some back-and-forth with support. No inventory to manage. Sold custom prints on Etsy for two years and the daily grind of packing orders, dealing with shipping issues, printing labels was real. With Ecomzy that whole operational layer just doesn't exist. I focus on picking products and driving traffic, the rest runs itself.

First month felt slow. Not broken - just slow. Took time to learn what worked for my audience. People expecting first-week wins will bounce, and the onboarding could probably manage that expectation a bit harder upfront.
