XD prend en charge et peut ouvrir des fichiers d'Illustrator, Photoshop, Photoshop Sketch et After Effects. En plus d'Adobe Creative Cloud, XD peut également se connecter à d'autres outils et services tels que Slack et Microsoft Teams pour collaborer. XD est également capable de s'ajuster automatiquement et de passer de macOS à Windows.
