Les 3 principaux composants de Splunk : Search Head (UI), Indexer (DB) et Forwarder (Agent de point de terminaison avec Universal Forwarder ou Agent d'agrégation avec Heavy-weight/Light-weight Forwarder). De petites implémentations peuvent être déployées avec Search Head et Indexer sur le même nœud.
