PDM signifie Gestion de Documents de Programme. Cependant, il va au-delà de ce qu'un explorateur de fichiers ordinaire fait et permet un historique des versions ainsi qu'un contrôle de révision et de publication, des privilèges d'édition, des états de documents, etc.
