Not really, LXD is more of a container manager on top of LXC. It gives VM like isolation but it’s still using system containers, not full virtualization like a hypervisor.

Non. LXD n'est pas un hyperviseur. Les instances de conteneurs LXD partagent le noyau de l'hôte LXD et les instances LXD répliquent l'espace utilisateur du système de fichiers racine, permettant aux applications d'être installées sur des instances dédiées.
