Contrairement à Dropbox, les fichiers sont cryptés sur votre appareil puis téléchargés sur les serveurs de Sync, ce qui signifie que vous seul avez accès à vos fichiers (sauf si vous choisissez de les partager en utilisant les fonctionnalités de partage de Sync). Les fichiers peuvent être téléchargés sur votre ou vos appareils pour une édition hors ligne (c'est-à-dire : vous souhaitez travailler sur un document pendant un vol ou sans connexion internet). Toutes les modifications apportées se synchroniseront avec Sync lorsque vous serez reconnecté à Internet.
