Their digital business card can be added directly to Apple Wallet for quick access anytime. Once someone scans the QR code, they are instantly directed to multiple ways to contact me and can easily save my full contact details.

The app also allows you to scan other people’s business cards. It automatically analyzes the card, extracts the key information, and adds it as a contact in the leads section. The main part I’d like to improve is the card-scanning feature. Right now, there’s a large card displayed above the scanning area, which takes up space where I’d prefer the scanned card to appear. I think the scanner would feel cleaner and more practical if it only showed the white border/frame around the card.

I’d also like to see a few more options for customizing the landing page people see after scanning the QR code. The Popl branding can still remain on the free version, but having more control over the layout, icon colors, or displayed contact options would make the experience feel more personal and professional. I appreciate that Popl can help prevent waste. As someone who tries to be mindful of my consumption, I sometimes feel bad knowing that business cards might (let’s be real) just get thrown aside or tossed away in some situations. I would say that the only thing I disliked so far is that I HAD to download the app. I understand that there are most likely reasons for that; it's just that EVERYONE needs you to download an app for everything these days. Of course, not everyone is familiar or comfortable with digital business cards, especially in a market that is traditionally far behind tech adoption rates. What I "dislike" about Popl is not about the platform, and more about the adoption of it for the people I'm networking with, but also for myself.
