# Is Redzone an MES (Manufacturing Execution System)?

Redzone is a Connected Workforce Solution (CWS) that includes the features of an MES including real-time OEE. Redzone eliminates manufacturers' need for an MES. Manufacturers use Redzone in the same way an MES is used. Through integration and automation, Redzone provides insight into equipment performance, monitors process parameters, and provides real-time OEE dashboards and monitoring. Manufacturers that already have an MES easily integrate their data with Redzone. A Redzone factory is a smart factory and Redzone enables a total digital transformation in operations.
