# How to invert surfaces

How to flip surfaces and set different textures on both sides?

To invert a surface:
- Select the surface you would want to invert (using polygon selection)
- On the command panel (default is on the right side of your screen) Look for the "Edit Polygon" tab and under it you would see the "Flip" tool
- Press the flip tool to invert the normals/ surface
