# Zoom updates

I have a Dell computer with a working camera and microphone, however, Zoom always fails to recognize my microphone. Initially, I thought this was my computer's problem, nonetheless, I noticed that I am able to use the web version of Zoom but I would always need to call in with my phone when I use the Zoom installed on my computer.

Version 5.0.5 of Zoom Rooms and the Zoom Rooms controller will be available on July 5th. This will be the minimum required version for the rooms to function because, from that date, it will be necessary to use enhanced encryption technology for the connection between rooms and controllers.
