# Workbooks deleted item recovery

What sort of deleted item recovery does Workbooks have and how far back does it go?

For instance, if a user deletes several contacts, is there a "recycle bin", "trash" or "undelete" from which the user or an administrator can restore them?

For how long a period are deleted items preserved?

Is there any indicator showing the dates items were deleted to facilitate bulk record recovery in case of user error?

Currently in Workbooks there are 2 solutions to this.

1) using optional advance audit you can see everything users do, from delete, update etc and granularly what they change at field level. This can be used to then manually update a record to a prior value if needed.

2) any bulk action in Workbooks - import or bulk update can be rolled back for up to 30 das.

Manual single updates cannot be automatically rolled back at present.

3) in case of a bigger error - a request can be made of Workbooks to access a daily secure backup that is automatically made of each clients data.
