# Will you now or in the future provide rmd calculations for Retirement and Inherited accounts?

Protracker allowed for tracking and calculation of RMD's based off of balance ending 12/31. Will redtail be providing a service like this in the future?

I am an end-user, but if I had to guess, I would say no.  They are good at identifying RMD eligible clients, however, even custodians shy away from RMD calcs, since mid-year rollovers/transfers, inherited IRA complications and other factors make this complicated.  We appreciate that Redtail will generate an RMD client list, and do an independent review for each client to ensure their RMDs are satisfied, considering their specific account and account history.
