Nop, different to any other EDR, SentinelOne uses less than 100MB in memory and up to 200MB while running a scan

Since switching to SentinelOne, my Windows 10 virtual machines consistently hang. It is VERY frustrating! I tried deploying a newer release etc. Window 10 2004 and VMWare Workstation 15.6 - I am stuck in a rut here and none of the vendors - VMWare, Microsoft, or SentinelOne has any solutions - they only point the finger at one another. Working with ESET in the past NEVER caused this issue. But our investment in AV switched to SentinelOne and I cannot change. So, I waste time waiting for my VM's to recover from "not responding" states.

For our SentinelOne experience, we switched from SEP to S1 a few months back where there's been a noticeable performance degradation; especially on our (Windows) file servers. Also noticed that compared to SEP, the S1 agent takes up more system resources (ten times or more). Perhaps this is the price you pay for AI?

The SentinelOne client uses a small amount of system resources and should not impact your daily activities.

Anytime S1 shows increased use from the normal .3-.5% my system is impacted. If cpu gets to 4%+ my system is nearly unusable. i7-10810, NVMe, 16Gb so its no slouch.
