# Why wouldn't Skype have unlimited plans for global mobile/landline calling access?

It has always been a meeting platform of choice ever since e-meeting has been a thing. So there are still some features that seems to be Jurassic and needs some upgrading.

I wonder why they don't have unlimited plans available, whereas they pretty much function just like a VOIP.

But I'd say this is the most friendly app for all generations from millennials down to baby boomers and maybe even later. It's just so straight-forward unlike other apps, right? What do you think?

Skype to Skype calls are free anywhere in the world. You can also call from Skype to someone on their mobile or landline with a subscription or Skype Credit.
