# Why storage is low on Dropbox

When you create a Dropbox account you get small storage, this is need to improvement. I think firstly 1 year its free storage and another year or months take charge

As a business, they are looking to make money. A small amount of free storage is initially provided. They want you to upgrade to provide revenue.
