# why STAAD.PRO gives uneconomical Design For High Rise RCC buildings?

STAAD Pro gives satisfactory results only for steel structures but in case of concrete structures the results are uneconomical, the reinforcement provided are on higher side. is there any reason for it?

I am puzzeled as to your comment. There are many reasons why a solution might report different rebar arrangements and much of that is down to important engineering decisions. Also I  would point out that STAAD.Pro provides different methods to determine a suitable rebar arrangement, either using a batch method which provides quick guidance or where more detailed design is required, then using the Advanced Concrete Design is often a more appropriate solution. As often in construction, choosing the right tool can make all the difference.
