# Why Slackware?

I`m interested, why did you choose Slackware in this review? Do you like it, or is this some kind of help to donate to Slackware team..? 
Just to make it clear, I`m an a huge fan of Slackware.

If you want simplicity and efficiency you need slackware

To me, that&#39;s the best choice.  I wanted to spread it as much as I could, even installed it on my sis&#39;s notebook knowing she&#39;s too far from IT. Slackware is stable and userfriendly no matter what level you are. If you want to customize things, update or change it&#39;s not that easy to do without understanding and therefore not so easy to break :D
Thus, I&#39;d gladly help to donate, to rate, to support the Slackware team because the work they&#39;re doing is valuable and important.
