MobaXterm comes with a number of productivity tools, including macros, a strong scripting engine, and a built-in text editor. By using these technologies, users can automate processes, design unique workflows, and operate more productively. Due to its focus on serving as a terminal emulator, PuTTY lacks these extra productivity tools.
A built-in SFTP (SSH File transmission Protocol) client is available in MobaXterm, allowing for secure file transmission between local and remote systems. When interacting with remote servers, this eliminates the requirement for a separate file transfer client. PuTTY does not have native file transfer features and needs third-party programmes like PSFTP in order to transfer files.
It offers a terminal interface with tabs that enables users to open many connections at once in a single window. This feature increases productivity by making it simpler to transition between various sessions.
