# Why does the software require permissions such as access to delete all of my mails?

When installing the chrome plugins, the app requests for permission, which includes the complete control over my Gmail inbox including but not limited to accessing all of my emails and deleting some of my mails

Doubletick does not  ask for such permissions.

Other Email Tracking tools usually require permissions for complete Gmail mailbox access - Read Emails, Delete Emails, or Create or Compose new Emails. 

But, At Doubletick, we take your privacy very seriously, Doubletick does not need any Gmail account permission.
