# Why are there duplicate candidates that don't appear as such in the Duplicate feature so I can merge?

To merge duplicate Candidates:
- Hover on Candidates tab
- Click Duplicates
- Choose the criteria to suggest duplicates such as Email &Mobile
- Select the Candidates you wish to merge
- Click Merge Candidates then Confirm

Important: The merge process cannot be reversed, so please double check before proceeding.

Pro tip: You can also merge duplicates directly from the Candidates grid, just tick the records you'd like to merge then click Actions > Merge Candidates
