The main shareholder, co-founder and CEO of Whispli is Sylvain Mansotte, who was himself a whistleblower when he discovered a $20M fraud in his company. As the only French man in his Australian company, he was afraid of calling the hotline dedicated to disclosing issues, because he would have been identified by his accent. He eventually managed to blow the whistle, and the fraudster was sent to jail for 15 years. Afterwards, Sylvain became a compliance officer in the same company, processing reports and investigating concerns. However, Sylvain could not stop thinking about how technology could make the experience of both whistleblowers and case managers better, and decided to use his experiences and expertise to create a unique whistleblowing platform and case management application in one single solution: Whispli.
