# Which proxy network providers source addresses ethically, and how can a buyer verify that claim?

&lt;p&gt;The most credible sourcing claim is one a buyer can audit, not just read on a marketing page. I’d ask for documentation on how residential IPs are obtained, what consent users give, how participants are compensated, and what controls prevent traffic from being routed through compromised or unaware devices.&lt;/p&gt;
