I prefer Zotero for the options to connect across platforms. I like it that much that even after using Afforai for large scale text analysis, I still connect to Zotero to put together the references when I write.

That is a matter of taste. I don&#39;t particularly appreciate how Mendeley changed their interface ignoring the users&#39; feedback. I love how Zotero introduces features, and especially the community can write custom plugins. Otherwise, both serve the same purpose of managing a bibliography, and it is better to use one or another than not use such software.
