# Which Course Authoring Tool is currently the best?

Based on various parameters such as ease of use, features, functionalities, support etc,.. which course authoring tool is the best in the industry today?

It depends on what your overall mission is... I find Captivate to be better at screen captures. But for storyboarding, scenarios, etc., Storyline is way better. More powerful and much, much easier to use.

I agree with Scott that Storyline is easy to use because of its templates, but Captivate is more powerful than Storyline. There are a lot of features in Captivate that Storyline does not have.
