# Which AI legal assistants help paralegals at small firms review and draft contracts?

Paralegals at small firms often handle contract review and drafting with limited support, so an AI legal assistant has to save time without adding risk. I’ve noticed these tools vary in how well they flag problematic clauses, how closely drafts follow a firm’s own language and templates, and how easy it is to verify what the tool changed or suggested. Pricing and setup effort also matter more at smaller firms. Which AI legal assistants have you used to help paralegals at small firms review and draft contracts, and how reliable were the results?

For the review side, I'd ask for a comparison against the firm's own approved clauses. A generic suggestion can sound reasonable without matching the position that firm normally takes.

For drafting, being able to see the exact source template and every change would make the handoff to the supervising attorney easier to assess. Has anyone found that part straightforward enough for everyday use?
