# Where does Canva start to feel limiting for advanced design work?

Canva makes it easy to go from idea to a finished banner, presentation, or social post fast using drag-and-drop and templates, even without design skills. I also like the brand kit for keeping colors, fonts, and logos consistent, plus smooth Google Drive integration and responsive collaboration on larger files. The main friction is hitting limits with precise layer control and fine-grained typography, and running into paid-only templates/elements. What workarounds or workflows have helped you when Canva hits that ceiling?

Canva is excellent for creating social media posts, presentations, and marketing materials quickly, but it starts to feel limiting when working on advanced design projects. Tasks like detailed vector editing, complex layer management, precise typography, and professional print preparation are easier in tools like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. For everyday content creation Canva is great, but for high-end branding or production-level design, I often need more advanced software.
