# When will Global Media Fabric be available in South and East Africa?

Global Media Fabric (GMF) capabilities are being delivered in phases. Phase 1 was released in October 2021. The next phase is rolling out to our global regions starting June 29, 2022.  However, the Cape Town region is not part of this initial rollout. At this time we are targeting late July for Cape Town availability, with the caveat this date could change. Our weekly release notes, ideas portal and community site are the best resources to watch for release notifications.
