Managers use it to build and publish work schedules, track who's clocked in and out in real time, manage time-off requests, and communicate with their team — and more, all from one platform.

Employee scheduling: Auto-scheduling assigns shifts based on employee availability, eligibility, and position. Schedules publish instantly to the team via the mobile app.

Time and attendance: Employees clock in and out using the When I Work app, a shared tablet terminal, or a computer. The system tracks actual hours worked, break times, and flags late clock-ins.

Shift management: Employees can view upcoming shifts, request time off, and initiate shift swaps or pick up open shifts from their phones — reducing back-and-forth with managers.

Team communication: Built-in messaging lets managers send shift reminders and announcements without using personal phone numbers.
