# What would be the new functionality after merging with Periscope Data?

We are interested in having SQL functions in our data model and Python!

One of the features that will be of interest to me is doing in-stream processing of data (using Python for example) and then writing that data back to a warehouse:
SQL Query -> Python Processsing -> Data Warehouse and/or Local widget presentation.

This will allow for more fine-grained data shaping than would normally be done with raw SQL.
