# What strategies can I use to narrow down my software choices among so many options?

While researching new software for my job, I come across hundreds of tools that all offer similar features. Comparing all of them may require a lot of time.

What factors help you to narrow down your shortlist?
When evaluating software, do you pay more attention to reviews, integrations, pricing or ease of use?

I'd love to hear how other users struggle with the decision process before committing to a new tool.

Must-have features, budget, and use case need to be determined. 3-5 tools must be researched, reviewed, and tested using free trials, and compared based on ROI, scalability, and ease of use.
