That is a very personal decision, each artist draws according to their comfort. For my part, I have had a very good experience using an iPad and the Apple pen, I have also connected an iPad, and an Android tablet to my Huion Kanvas 22plus Drawing Tablet, and the results have been good using the Huion pen.
But my final recommendation is an iPad Pro and its pencil.
