# What's the best way to convert data into Excel?

Some of the data feeds in a messy way and that causes more issues in terms trying to organize the data. Especially the questions with ranking can cause some trouble in Excel.

Hi, Hannah. Thank you for the question. SurveyGizmo has great documentation that can help you organize your exports to fit your needs. The “Ranking Grid Question Type” documentation has a specific section devoted to exports. You can find that here: https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/ranking-grid#exporting.

Also, in the “Reports and Exports FAQs and Troubleshooting” guide you will find a list of topics specifically for SurveyGizmo exports -- https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/reports-and-exports-faqs-and-troubleshooting If you have additional questions, I highly recommend you checkout SurveyGizmo’s Help and Community site. Best of luck on your surveys and exports!
