# What&#39;s the best way to add performance to Projects

Is there a Desktop version? A setting to use more cache? Something to add speed to Projects? It take it's time to load everything. It will be nice a tip for adding performance.

You can create your own agent machines that can run locally or via Virtual Machines in a data center, including Azure (via IaaS).  These have been known to spin up faster because the VMs can be running all the time (unlike Microsoft having to spin up a VM on-demand).  Side note: Microsoft&#39;s Linux agents are noticeably faster than Windows-based agents.
