# What’s the best software for managing microservices in PaaS?

As more teams shift to microservice architectures, managing deployments, communication, and scaling between services has become a real challenge. We’re trying to find PaaS platforms that handle microservices gracefully — without heavy Kubernetes management overhead.
Here’s what we’re testing:

AWS Lambda – great for event-driven microservices and auto-scaling APIs.

Azure Functions – supports modular, serverless microservices with built-in monitoring.

DigitalOcean – flexible App Platform for containerized services and auto-scaling.

Akamai Cloud Computing – offers distributed edge compute for faster, decentralized microservice performance.

For those who’ve gone deep into microservices — how do you monitor inter-service performance and trace issues?
