We published the largest employee advocacy dataset we're aware of: an analysis of 400 million LinkedIn impressions across our customer base. The headline finding was that employee posts generate 14x more engagement than company page content. The top performers in the dataset generated over 45,000 impressions per post by combining topical expertise with authentic personal voice.
Beyond our own data, the broader industry benchmarks support what we see across our customers:
Employee advocacy delivers cost-per-clicks of $0.25 to $1.00 compared to $5 to $12 for LinkedIn Ads. Leads from employee-shared content convert 7x more frequently than leads from other sources. Employee networks are roughly 12x larger than company follower bases.
The most common results our customers report in the first 90 days are a measurable increase in LinkedIn profile views and connection requests for participating employees, higher engagement rates on employee content versus anything the company page produces, and inbound conversations from target accounts who engaged with employee posts.
