Hi Mary Clare! Thanks for your article! I was wondering what your opinions were on other sales metrics we should definitely be tracking? Obviously dollars and timeline, but what else would you recommend?

Hi Philena! Thanks for reading, and great question. The most important metrics you should definitely be tracking are going to depend on your primary goals for that particular time period. If you are focusing on speeding up your sales process, it might be average sales cycle length. If you noticed you are spending too much acquiring new customers and want to cut back on those costs, you will want to keep an eye on customer acquisition cost. While it will depend on your goals, I have also rounded up 14 sales key performance indicators (or KPIs) that will almost always matter to any business in any situation.
