# What is your fav. BI technology stack and why?

Just curious - what is your favorite BI technology stack and why has it worked well for you?
Please try to cover OS / Database / ETL Product / Reporting and Analysis Tool etc.

I've found that Alteryx and Tableau answer most of these questions.  Alteryx can solve the database and ETL problems (usually faster than SQL in my experience) and Tableau offers a beautiful reporting solution.  We've steered away from SQL for the most part for database storage, but Alteryx and Tableau can both access nearly any type of database you choose.
