Xibo Digital Signage is an open-source digital signage solution that we tried testing before,  primarily because of its low cost as a free platform and an option to self-host with a few caveats. It does provides a comprehensive set of features for managing and displaying content on digital screens, making it a versatile choice for various organizational needs. Xibo supports a wide range of media types and offers flexible scheduling options, which we found suitable for our diverse content requirements."

Our experience with Xibo was quite insightful. The platform's ability to remotely update and schedule content across multiple screens was a significant advantage. But what really impressed me was the wide range of media types it supports.

However, we did face some challenges, particularly in the technical operation of the system.  A noteworthy concern was the requirement for some level of technical knowledge, particularly when it comes to duties such as remote access and management via SSH. Most of our team members were unfamiliar with SSH or negotiating sophisticated technological areas, resulting in a higher learning curve than we had anticipated. While the rich functionality and cost-free nature of Xibo were enticing, the platform's technical needs, particularly the requirement
