# What is the first ERP workflow a growing business should automate?

Many growing businesses start with spreadsheets or separate tools for finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, and reporting. At some point, it becomes difficult to keep information updated across teams.

For companies moving to an ERP system like DNA ERP, which workflow do you think should be automated first?

For example:
- Finance and accounting
- Inventory and warehouse tracking
- Purchasing and supplier management
- Sales, CRM, and invoicing
- Reporting and dashboards
