# What is the fintech or specialty finance b2b service section doing to help or assist their end customers during these times?

So I'm talking about speciality finance sectors, such as legal funding or pre-settlement funding (no that courts are somewhat strained with caseloads) also the real estate finance sector, so companies like LendingOne or other private funding lenders into real estate, and lastly private lenders in niche spaces such as Clearbanc.com and their lending into SMBs and eCommerce start-ups for advertising budgets, etc...

Hi Gianni,

There are numerous fintech companies that are currently providing free technology to help banks help their customers. A more complete list is here: (https://www.forbes.com/sites/ronshevlin/2020/03/23/a-list-of-fintech-firms-providing-free-technology-to-banks-during-the-coronavirus-crisis/#211789ee1b5e)

There's also been an increased adoption and usage of back-end tech to help deal with the influx of loan applications and financial services customers. One software example is Bottomline Technologies (https://www.g2.com/vendors/bottomline-technologies) which allows banks to originate PPP loans, and offers features such as account opening, on-boarding and fraud capabilities. Small businesses can also use the platform to apply online as fewer physical bank branches are available.

Fiserv (https://www.g2.com/vendors/fiserv) is equipping its banking customers with tools to accept PPP applications via their websites and online banking platforms, as well as through the Clover platform (https://www.g2.com/products/clover/reviews). Integrating the application process into banks’ existing portals means small businesses can more seamlessly apply for a PPP loan.
