Chrome OS and Chromium OS are both Linux-based operating systems that use the Chromium web browser.
Chrome OS is a for-profit product, whereas Chromium OS is free and open source.
Chrome OS automatically updates, but Chromium OS does not.

Whereas Chromium is more open source application based.
